The 18-year-old defender intercepted a clearance in the 56th minute and unleashed a powerful right-footed shot from well outside the box, finding the top-right corner of the net

The game's highlight came in the 56th minute when the 18-year-old Bugg scored her first professional goal with a stunning strike from outside the box. Veteran midfielder Jess Fishlock, making her 200th regular-season appearance, also found the net for Seattle Reign. North Carolina Courage managed to pull one back through Aline Gomes in the 59th minute but it wasn’t enough in the end.
