During Hinako’s second visit to the Dark Shrine (Otherworld area), she’ll enter the dark Corridors area in Silent Hill f. After following the “find a way to the sacred door” objective, players will stumble upon a small altar in one of the rooms. Interacting with the altar will update the objective to “search for the missing object part,” which will require you to explore the area and find the object that fits into the altar to progress further into the Corridors area.
Where to Find the Missing Object Part in Silent Hill f (Location)
Corridors is the third chapter in Silent Hill f, and the first objective you’ll need to complete at this place is finding the missing object part of the altar. Players will find the altar in an adjacent room to the first Hokora shrine in the Corridors.
It’s placed inside a cabinet with a circular plate and candles lit around it. There’s space in the middle of the altar, indicating that something should be placed here to possibly activate a hidden mechanism.
To begin finding the missing object part, you’ll need to first get the Storage Room key. Thankfully, simply exit the room with the altar, and you’ll spot a small space to crouch walk across to the right (the same path used to head to the first Hokora Shrine).
You’ll find the Storage Room key sitting on one of the wooden crates to the left, right before the doorway. Feel free to save up at the shrine outside.
Now, you’ll need to find the storage room that you’ve just picked up the key for. Exit the room you’re currently in and keep following the path to the right to come across a locked door to your left.
Use the Storage Room key to enter inside, and head to the back of the room. There’s a wooden chest with a doll sitting on top that you can interact with to read a message. Also, don’t forget to pick up the “A Warning” note/document.
After exiting the storage room, you’ll notice that the room across the walkway is now mysteriously unlocked. Hinako will also comment on the situation, but it’s completely safe to enter the room.
Enter the room, and you’ll find the missing object part for the altar called “Inari Sculpture” in Silent Hill f. Now, simply make your way back to the altar and watch out for any enemies that have spawned in the halls.
Once you reach the altar, Hinako will insert the Inari Sculpture into the altar, activating a mechanism that reveals a hidden passageway. Enter the passageway to progress through the Corridors chapter, and get the Naginata weapon in Silent Hill f.
