United goalkeeper Earps was excited to see her clubmate making her England debut at the age of 27 as she congratulated her on social media.

Taking to Instagram, Earps uploaded a photograph of herself hugging Turner after the match and wrote in the caption: "Congratulations on your debut @MILLTURNER. So so so chuffed for you!"

After beating Austria in a nine-goal thriller last Saturday, Sarina Wiegman's side registered yet another thumping win over Italy as they beat them 5-1. Lotte Wubben-Moy opened the scoring for the Lionesses before Lauren Hemp's brace established a three-goal lead for her team within the first 34 minutes of the match. The other two goals were scored by Ella Toone and Rachel Daly in the second half. Michela Cambiaghi netted the consolation goal for the Italians.
